Important Notes

  1. The applicant must be a permanent Hong Kong resident who is aged 18 or above.
  2. This insurance is subject to the territorial limit of Hong Kong.
  3. This insurance excludes any loss of, or liability directly or indirectly arising as a result of or in connection with the following:
    (a) any type of cryptocurrencies, e.g. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple or IOTA, etc.;
    (b) gambling;
    (c) investment or trading losses including without limitation any inability to sell, transfer or dispose of securities;
    (d) misappropriation, theft, infringement or disclosure of any intellectual property, e.g. patents, trademarks or copyrights, etc.
    (e) any action, omission or misbehaviour of the insured which is intentional, malicious, dishonest, deliberate or reckless; or
    (f) any action or omission in the insured’s capacity as employee, self-employed person or any professional or business activity.
